FRIDAY 14TH

THE POWER OF TRUSTING GOD
-Pastor Olumese

Jeremiah 17:7-8 (MSG), “But blessed is the man who trust me, God, the woman who sticks with God. They’re like trees replanted in Eden, putting down roots near the rivers – Never a worry through the hottest of summers, never dropping a leaf, serene and calm through droughts, bearing fresh fruit every season.”

Many times in your journey through life, you will face situations that might seem bigger than you. At such times, what will take you through to victory would depend on whether you have learnt to trust absolutely in God. God is the only absolutely dependable one in the entire universe. Human beings may promise heaven and earth, but they have a very high chance of failing you because all human beings are limited in themselves. If you live your life by placing your trust in people or in system, what would you do when you are disappointed?
Trusting in God erases the chance of being disappointed because God cannot fail. God may not come through based on your time table, but if you remain unshaken in your resolve to trust Him, He will not disappoint. Psalm 20:7-8a says, “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright…” What I want you to see today is this: when you desire something good and it seems that there is nothing and no one within your natural reach that can help you, remember that you have access to help in the name of the Lord!
As a child of God, you have supernatural assistance available to you beyond what the natural eyes can see. God does not want you to give up on your dreams, He wants you to learn to trust in the invisible to produce tangible results. It is time to put Proverbs 3:5 into practice, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.” I believe, God will come through for you today!

FURTHER STUDY: Isaiah 31:1, “Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and rely on horses, who trust in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because they are very strong, but who do not look to the Holy One of Israel, nor seek the Lord.”

CONFESSION: I BOLDLY CONFESS, I WILL NOT LIMIT OR GIVE UP ON MY DREAMS BECAUSE I LACK PHYSICAL HELP OR HUMAN CONNECTION. MY TRUST IS IN THE ALMIGHTY GOD. I BELIEVE IN MY COLOURFUL DESTINY, AND WITH GOD, I WILL GET THERE!

ACTION POINT: When there is no one to help you, trust in God alone!

The “Epignosis” Of The Truth

…For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4).

God’s desire is for all men to be saved and come to the knowledge (Greek: Epignosis) of the truth. The reason for bringing salvation to all men isn’t only for them to receive it and escape eternal damnation but also to come into an intimate knowledge, a fellowship or oneness with the truth. That’s when you really start living.

For example, 1 Peter 1:23 says, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” This means you’re born of the Word; you’re the Word in flesh! Your life as a Christian is the manifestation of the Word. God wants you to come to the knowledge of this truth.

Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God….” This means you can’t be disadvantaged or defeated in life; the whole world is yours; you’re an associate of the God-kind. There’s no such thing as failure or poverty when you understand this revelation. These are basic truths revealed to us in the Word; receive and accept them, and your life will be an unending stream of the supernatural.

The Bible talks about those who are “Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth” (2 Timothy 3:7). These are individuals who refuse to yield to the knowledge of the truth of their inheritance and identity in Christ Jesus. As a result, they turn around in circles, and never make progress. You can break the cycle by coming into the knowledge or oneness with the truth of your success, victory, prosperity and glorious life in Christ Jesus. You need to come to the knowledge of the truth that you’re in God’s class.

PRAYER:

Dear Father, I thank you for granting me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you. You’ve granted me the specialized knowledge that enables me to function in your perfect will, now and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Good Morning Beloved!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES – Wednesday, July 12 2017

TOPIC: YOUR POTENTIALS ARE LIMITLESS .

PASTOR CHRIS

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God (2 Corinthians 3:5).

The word “sufficiency” is the Greek “hikanotes,”which means competence; being qualified enough to be able. When the Scripture says, “Our sufficiency is of God,” it means our competence or ability is of God. No matter the challenges life poses before you, you’re more than able to face them and win. What a life! This has nothing to do with your human ability or connections; it’s about the Christ-life in you.

God has given you a life that makes you more than a man. There’s a divine energy working in you; it doesn’t burn out, neither does it require replenishing. Refuse therefore to be limited by your physical ability. The Holy Spirit—the source of all strength, and Spirit of might Himself—lives in you. That means your potentials are limitless! Christ’s glorious power works in you mightily to achieve results that are beyond human ability and comprehension (Colossians 1:29). Affirm this in your life always.

If you’d take advantage of this divine ability, it’ll make all the difference at school, in your work place and in whatever you do. You’ll go further, faster and do far more excellently than your physical ability can take you. Never feel incompetent, inadequate, or incapable for any task. Christ is your sufficiency; therefore, by His ability at work in you, you can do all things; you’re up to any task. Hallelujah!

Refuse to be intimidated. Fear nothing. Talk bold all the time. Declare who you are, what you have, and your ability in Christ Jesus! This is important, because if you don’t affirm it, you’ll not experience it. Keep declaring that Christ is your sufficiency; therefore, your potentials are limitless. You’re excellent, and have an excellent life. Blessed be God!

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for your divine power that works in me mightily. Christ is my life, my sufficiency, wisdom, and righteousness. He’s made my life beautiful, fruitful, productive and sound! Blessed be your glorious Name forever. Amen.

TUESDAY 11TH
NEW LIFE, NEW DESIRES, NEW ACTIONS

-Pastor Olumese
Romans 7:21-22 (AMPC), “So I find it to be a law (rule of action of my being) that when I want to do what is right and good, evil is ever present with me and I am subject to its insistent demands. For I endorse and delight in the Law of God in my innermost self [with my new nature].”
Yesterday, Pastor Ogechi showed us a most glorious revelation from scripture that we have in us (in our spirit) the very life of God! You must know with assurance that you have a new life and you have a new nature. Just like Pastor Ogechi asserted yesterday, when a man is born again, a new spirit is created by the release of God’s own life into him. Remember that John 1:4 says, “In Him was life and that life was the light of men.” The life we receive comes with His own light in our newly recreated spirit.

God doesn’t expect us to keep this light hidden, He expects us to allow this light shine out, until it dominates our flesh and our mind. Matthew 5:15-16 (NIV) says, “Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your father in heaven.” Dear friend, it is time for you to allow the life of God dominate everything about you. Romans 12:1-2 (NIV) says, “Therefore, I urge you brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is…”

As a wise man once said, “Christianity is the miracle of changed desires,” and this miracle has taken place in you if you have accepted Jesus. Joyfully allow God’s word affect your thinking pattern, your actions and your attitude. You are a new person in Christ!
FURTHER STUDY: Colossians 3:9-10 (NLT), “Don’t lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds. Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your creator and become like Him.”
CONFESSION: I BOLDLY CONFESS, A GREAT MIRACLE HAS TAKEN PLACE INSIDE MY HEART. I NOW HAVE NEW DESIRES TO PLEASE GOD ALWAYS, BECAUSE GOD IS WORKING IN ME BOTH TO WILL AND TO DO THE THINGS THAT ARE PLEASING TO HIM.
ACTION POINT: Put your body under submission to God’s word and God’s ways.

HOW TO BEHAVE IN THE HOUSE OF GOD
-Pastor Olumese

1 Timothy 3:14-15 (NLT), “I am writing these things to you now, even though I hope to be with you soon, so that if I am delayed, you will know how people must conduct themselves in the household of God. This is the church of the living God, which is the pillar and the foundation of truth.”

There are prescribed protocol for every environment. Acceptance and submission to the protocol of an environment is the spring board to greater access and privileges in any environment! Apostle Paul is the writer of our anchor scripture for today, and just in case you did not know, Apostle Paul was one of the greatest Church planters of the early church age. He planted and founded several churches and he continued to have spiritual oversight over all these churches even when he was physically bound in prison. In the latter part of our anchor scripture, Apostle Paul makes a very strong point which I want to start with. He said, “…This is the church of the living God…” It is very important that Christians everywhere (especially for us who belong to the Amazing Grace Nation), realize that the church belongs to God, we cannot come in and expect to make our own rules for how to run God’s church. Paul stresses that “…there is how to behave and conduct ourselves in the household of God.”
Although we came into church voluntarily, and although we have been born again into freedom and liberty, yet God expects us to submit ourselves to a higher standard of life and operation which is drawn from God’s word. God expects us to submit to this biblical ‘code of conduct’ willingly and in love. Galatians 5:13-15 says, “For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighour as yourself.” But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another.” Dear friend, the scripture is very clear, we must not give into fleshly motivated behavior such as fighting, quarrelling, back biting, caucus formation or division. God expects us to work in love and build one another up in the fear of God.

FURTHER STUDY: Exodus 4:22-23 (NIV), “Then say to pharaoh, ‘This is what the Lord says: Israel is my firstborn son. I told you to let my son go so he may worship me. But you refused to let him go; so I will kill your firstborn son.”

CONFESSION: I BOLDLY CONFESS, I KNOW THAT THE CHURCH IS GOD’S BABY. GOD DOES NOT TAKE IT LIGHTLY WITH ANYONE THAT JOKES, DISTURBS OR TRIES TO DESTROY HIS CHURCH. THEREFORE I WILL BEHAVE MYSELF WISELY. I WILL WALK IN LOVE AND SHUN FLESHLY DESIRES.

ACTION POINT: Be orderly and respectful to constituted authority in your church.

WEDNESDAY 5TH
START UP YOUR CRAZY PRAISE

-Pastor Ogechi
2 Chronicle 20:22, “Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.”
Hello. Let me start by saying, this is the day the Lord has made, and it is time to kick out depression, frustration and sorrow. Make up your mind to rejoice and be glad. I have good news for you today, I have found what you must do to turn those your trials into triumphs. It is called ‘Crazy Praise.’

Crazy praise is a praise that comes out of the midst of dire challenges. When you decide to praise God in the midst of your thick storm, that is crazy praise.  Our anchor scripture today was the record of the response of the children of Israel (under the leadership of Jehosaphat) to the threat of annihilation by about 3 nations. Look at Jehoshaphat appraisal of the situation in 2 Chronicles 20:12 (NLT), “O God, won’t you stop them? We are powerless against this mighty army that is about to attack us. We do not know what to do but we are looking to you for help.” Does that sound like what you may be going through right now? Do you feel powerless in the face of the numerous confronting challenges, confronting you from all corners? If your answer to these questions is yes, then it is time to get your crazy praise started!

Crazy praise is so powerful because it is an announcement of faith that has grown into trust. People usually dance after a victory, but your crazy praise announces to God, the angels, all the demons and the challenge that in your heart you have already recorded the victory! Let me tell you something, you cannot lose the victory you have already celebrated! So, dear friend, God sent me to tell you today that there is no need to keep on crying. You need to dust off your dancing shoes and wear a smile on your face. You are about to share a testimony!
FURTHER STUDY: Habakkuk 3:17-18 (MSG), “Though the cherry tree don’t blossom and the strawberries don’t ripen, Though the apples are worm eaten and the wheat field stunted, though the sheep pens are sheepless and the cattle barns empty, (yet) I’m singing joyful praise to God.”
CONFESSION: I BOLDLY CONFESS, I HAVE FOUND MY WAY OUT OF TROUBLE. I WILL NOT WAIT UNTIL THINGS ARE PREFECT TO PRAISE GOD; NO, I WILL PRAISE AT ALL TIMES. MY TRIALS ARE TURNING INTO TRIUMPHS.
ACTION POINT: Make today a praise full day!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES – Wednesday , JULY 5 2017

Good Morning Beloved!
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES – Wednesday , JULY 5 2017
TOPIC: HIS REPRESENTATION

PASTOR CHRIS
For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren (Hebrews 2:11).

When you study the epistles, you really don’t find Christians being referred to as disciples. Now, there’s nothing wrong in the generic use of the term “disciples” for Christians, because even Acts 11:26 says, “…And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.” The disciples apparently lived amongst the people, not just as followers, but as icons of Christ. So, in reality, our description isn’t that of followers, but of ambassadors; the representation of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20).
We’re the icons of Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus is exactly like the Father. He said in John 10:30, “I and my Father are one.” He’s the full representation or perfect imprint of the Father; the express image of His person (Hebrews 1:3). The Bible says as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). The question is, “How is Jesus? How did He live when He walked the earth?” He subdued the world; He dominated circumstances. He never complained; rather, He changed things! He lived triumphantly every day.
As His ambassador His representation you ought to live as an agent of change like the Master. Speak faith-filled words; dominate circumstances and subdue this world. He has said nothing shall be impossible unto you; live every day with that mind-set. You’re today the effulgence of His glory, the epitome and expression of His righteousness. When you show up, Christ shows up; His blessings manifest.
This was God’s dream from the beginning, to manifest Himself, not only in you, but also through you. He seeks to bless the world and show forth His goodness, grace, wisdom, and excellence through you. So, everywhere you are, manifest the life of Christ! Let Him laugh, smile, and touch others through you.

CONFESSION

I know who I am! I’m a new creation in Christ Jesus, born with the life and nature of God. I’m the icon of the resurrected Christ. I manifest His glory, perfections and grace everywhere. I’m a partaker of the divine nature. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY:

1 Corinthians 15:47-49 AMP

The first man [was] from out of earth, made of dust (earthly-minded); the second Man [is] the Lord from out of heaven. 48 Now those who are made of the dust are like him who was first made of the dust (earthly-minded); and as is [the Man] from heaven, so also [are those] who are of heaven (heavenly-minded). 49 And just as we have borne the image [of the man] of dust, so shall we and so let us also bear the image [of the Man] of heaven.
1 John 4:17

Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
